The Professor Optics Taunus ProV 13 Ceramic (V2.0) has a powerful 12µm ceramic VOx-detector, which is characterised by a significantly higher temperature sensitivity and a very high battery life of up to 20 hours. The compact thermal imaging device is suitable as an affordable entry-level model as well as a simple observation device for distress and forest.
The new ceramic vox detector features 256 x 192 pixels and in conjunction with the 13mm objective lens, detection ranges up to 675 m. The LCD colour display is large enough to detect details when observing and response. The image transfer is completely smooth thanks to the 50 Hertz frame rate. The Taunus ProV 13 ceramic (V2.0) is equipped with a 1.24x optical zoom and a 2x digital zoom.
Of course, the thermal imaging device has the standard viewer modes with which the heat sources can be represented – black, white, red, full colour and close range. The video image can be transferred to suitable devices using the included USB cable.
The Taunus ProV 13 ceramic (V2.0) is robust, waterproof and protected against dust (IP protection class: IP 66). The thermal imaging optics have a ¼ inch tripod connection. The integrated lithium-ion battery can be easily charged with the included USB cable.
